Vanadium pentoxide series of sulfuric acid catalysts could be used in the process of sulfuric acid production, to be more specific, is the process of SO2+I/2O2---SO3. With the help of Vanadium Catalyst, the rate of conversion can be improved greatly. It could guarantee the air speed of operation to add 10-20% more when using type star ring catalysts or ring catalysts.
Vanadium catalyst can be applied in many fields, such as, sulfur-based acid production, pyrite-based acid production, nonferrous smelting gas-based acid production, gypsum-based acid production etc.
The S101 series improved vanadium catalyst is one of our new products achieved based on modified formulation and improved manufacturing process. Although with lower bulk density, it has higher surface area and high porosity. Therefore, improved energy efficiency throughout the operating cycle can be ensured due to the low pressure drop. As comparison with its counterparts, this range of improved vanadium catalyst product serves as the cost effective one that enables higher activity, lower loading coefficient, better conversion rate, and longer service life.
On the basis of modified formulation and improved manufacturing process, we successfully developed the S108 series improved vanadium catalyst, a new version of low temperature catalyst. It requires less start-up time, and offers higher activity under low temperature conditions. Due to its higher surface area and porosities, the product ensures improved conversion rate of sulfur dioxide. Compared with the products of our domestic competitors, the improved vanadium catalyst has advantages that it offers lower loading coefficient, higher activity and longer service life so as to achieve the cost effective investment.
1). Type S101 series are broad temperature catalysts which suit for every bed of converter.
2). Type S108 is low temperature catalysts which suit for 1/3 top of the first bed to decrease inlet operating temperature, and 4th bed, 5th bed to improve equilibrium conversion and decrease gas emission.
