The thermoactuator or wax motor actuator is a small actuator that delivers a silent, strong, and smooth linear movement. It's developed based on the outstanding volumetric expansion property of wax.

A thermoactuator consists of a wax motor, flame-retardant housing, a plastic plunger, a return spring, and two conductive plugs.

It's widely used in Home Appliance and HVAC Industries to trigger the open or close actions of mechanical parts such as Door Lock, Detergent Dispenser, Ventilator Louver, etc.
