Product Description
The blades of waterwheel aerator are all or in part immersed in water under working condition. When rotating the blades immerse in water and paddle water surface with splashes, whilst the air is pressed into water which generates a strong force to: 1. Press surface water into bottom; 2. Push water flow backwards. When the blades are perpendicular to water surface, a force parallel to water surface is created to form a directed flow of water. When the blades rotate upwards, a negative pressure pulls out the lower layer of pond water. Once the blades are out of water, water remained in blades and bend will be upthrown into air by impetus and centrifugal force. Such motion creates numerous splashes and dissolves significant oxygen. The rotation of waterwheel can speed up the oxygenic dissolution.
Advantages:
Waterwheel aerator circulates pond water to maintain high-level of oxygen. The directional water flow created by waterwheel aerator is especially suitable for shrimp ponds, which can lead them towards food feeding.
The revolution speed is relatively lower than other types of aerators. It can be used in ponds of depth of 1-2 meters.
Waterwheel aerators has better plug-flow an d integration capacity in upper-intermediate water layer, in which create more extensive water-oxygen contact area and perform better oxygen generative capacity.
