Decal process:

For best results, the surface of the item to be applied should be moistened and cleaned with sufficient water prior to the decal transfer process so that the decorative surface is clean and free of any grease, dust or dirt particles. This is to ensure a seamless bond between the decal and the surface/substrate. Any dust, dirt or irrelevant chemical substances on the surface of the object to be pasted will cause adverse effects on the firing, and even lead to the scrapping of the finished product.

To fully soak the paper, fully immerse the flower paper in clean cold water for about 10-15 seconds, after which the paper is completely soaked. Remove from water and wait 60 - 90 seconds (or until decal can be detached from backing paper). Using warm, heated water can help decals on irregular surfaces.

Firing temperature:

The ideal conditions are usually slow firing cycles and adequate ventilation.
