The microprocessor bus protection devices of WMH-800A series are modified products of that series, applicable for the buses with various voltage levels of 1000 kV or below and main connection methods, and used as a set of protection devices for the buses of power plant and substation. WMH-800A/B6/R1 series are applicable for the buses with various voltage levels of 220 kV or below, connection methods and maximum 23 allowable connecting elements (including bus couple and segmented elements), and fully satisfy Q/GDW 175-2008 Enterprise standards of China State Grid Corp; WMH-800A/B6/R5 fully meets Q/GDW 175-2008 Enterprise standards of China State Grid Corp, and dedicated to 3/2 wiring, with maximum 12 allowable connecting elements on the bus.

This specification applies to the version of WMH-800A/B6/R1.

There’re two configuration schemes for the different bus main connection forms and connecting elements of WMH-800A/B6/R1 bus protection: for standard configuration scheme, Protection box (I) and auxiliary case, 2 units; simplified configuration scheme, Protection box (II), 1 unit.
